The new E10SR mini excavator: big for a smaller package

The new E10SR mini excavator is the smallest in the New Holland range of mini-excavators. Although extremely compact, the new model would appear to offer similar powerful digging performance of its predecessor coupled with the ability to work in even tighter spaces with exceptional precision.

The E10SR is designed to work effectively in the tightest spaces and ideal for digging along walls, with the hydraulic swing offset boom, minimal swing radius.

This capability has been further enhanced by further reduction of the overhang to zero on the right swing and just 38mm on the left swing, down from 39mm and 82mm respectively in the previous model.

The adjustable crawler width enables the E10SR to pass through openings as narrow as 900mm when set at the minimum width setting of 750mm — the smallest in this class — and ensures stability at work when set at the 980mm maximum width.

The crawler's width is easy to adjust with a control located at the bottom of the seat.

Productivity is further enhanced by the powerful digging performance and wide operating range, with 1,750mm digging depth, 3,300mm digging reach and 3,160mm digging height.

The extremely compact size of the E10SR makes it easy to transport. The improved dozer approach angle of 30 degrees allows the machine to crawl on and off the truck platform without hitting the loading ramps. The new model also benefits from improvements to further enhance the machine's serviceability.

The PC88MR-6 are fitted with Komtrax

Komtrax allows an array of detailed machine information including the exact position of the machine, engine operation times, cautions and service meter reading alerts to be viewed via the monitor panel in the cab by logging on to an easy-to-use website.

The PC88MR-6 looks and feels sturdy, it's well built and the smoothness of the controls makes it easy to operate in confined areas.

The PC88MR-6 has been fitted with roadliner shoes and rotating beacons. The purchase was made through Stuart Nordoff, Marubeni-Komatsu's Area Sales Manager for South Wales, Gloucestershire and Avon.
