How much can a 1-ton dumper carry?

Dumpers come in several different sizes and weights. You’ll find 1-ton dumpers, 3-ton dumpers, 5-ton dumpers, etc. The specific dumper you choose should depend on the size of your construction project. Bigger dumpers carry more weight than smaller dumpers, but they also cost more to hire. That is why you should be selective before making a hiring decision.

Small construction projects only need a 1-ton dumper. The general specifications indicate that a 1-ton dumper can carry up to 1,000 kilograms or 2,000 pounds of weight. That should be more than enough weight to carry for smaller construction projects, such as inground swimming pools, residential landscaping, etc.

A great example of a high-quality 1-ton dumper is the HT1000 Petrol Track Dumper. It has a 1-ton safe carry capacity, Honda GX390 engine, joystick control, high tip, braked drive motors, and rubber tracks to navigate over rugged terrain. The tracks give the dumper excellent stability and mobility without causing much damage to the ground. It is definitely a versatile dumper to have on a construction site.

Bison Plant Hire offers affordable prices on our 1-ton dumper hires, particularly the HT1000 Petrol Track Dumper. It has an electric starting capability with hydraulic drive and 13 horsepower.
